TJ Langley is entering his first season as Linebackers coach for the Golden Norsemen.

Langley spent the first 4 years of his coaching career at Idabel High School where he served as Defensive Coordinator under Texas High School Hall of Fame football coach, Dennis Parker. During these years, the IHS football team went from a 1-9 team the year prior to making 4 consecutive playoff runs. As Defensive Coordinator, Langley’s defense was one of Oklahoma’s top 10 defenses for points allowed in 2017. Langley also served as head power lifting coach at IHS.

Prior to coaching, Langley played in the Arena Football League for 3 years. He competed in an Arena Football League championship game with Philadelphia Soul. Langley was also signed to the Buffalo Bills in 2011.

Langley began his college football career at Northeastern Oklahoma State University in 2007 as a Tight End. He also played Tight End and Defensive End at Arkansas Tech University and was inducted into the Arkansas Tech University T Club.

Langley received his Bachelors of Science from Southeastern Oklahoma State University in 2016. He also received his Masters of Science in Sports Administration with an emphasis on Strength and Conditioning from Southeastern Oklahoma State University in 2018.

Langley and his wife, Sarah, have one son, Braylon, a strong 10-year-old #CFWarrior who is fighting and winning his daily battle with cystic fibrosis.
