The NEO Golden Norsemen and the Crowder Roughriders faced off in their yearly match-up at Joe Becker Stadium in Joplin, MO. Both teams are having successful seasons and it proved to be a great game at the park on Tuesday. The game went to a total of 12 innings before Crowder was able to hold off the Norsemen by hitting a 3-run home-run in the top of the 12th inning. Crowder jumped out to an early lead 6-1.  Early on Zach Menard and Marek Lalonde hit a home-run and and grand-slam to tie the game up. It was an offensive battle as both teams kept firing. NEO took the lead late in the game and Crowder just wouldn't go away. Crowder scored on a line drive in the top of the 9th to tie the game up. Alex Descarreaux
added a solo home-run to give the Norsemen another chance. With 2 outs Crowder hit a three-run home-run to ultimately give them the lead. The Norsemen fall 12-15.

The Norsmen travel to Midwest City to take on the Rose State Raiders in their conference series this weekend.
