Lady Norse Make Statement in Season Return, Defeat NOC Tonkawa 89–58

The NEO Lady Norse made a strong statement in their first game back since November 2, 2025, picking up an impressive 89–58 road win over NOC Tonkawa on Tuesday night.

After more than two months away from game action, the Lady Norse showed little rust, setting the tone early and maintaining control throughout the night. NEO's offense was firing on all cylinders, while the defense limited NOC Tonkawa's opportunities and forced tough possessions.

Montay Davis led the way with a game-high 18 points, attacking the basket and knocking down key shots to pace the Norse. Close behind was Carolina Furtado, who added 16 points and provided a steady scoring presence. Off the bench, Eliana Florence-Valentin delivered a big spark, contributing 14 points and showcasing the team's depth.

The balanced scoring and relentless energy helped NEO pull away and secure a convincing victory, marking a successful return to the court and a confidence-boosting win away from home.

The Lady Norse will look to keep the momentum going as they return home for their next match up on Wednesday, January 7, against Seminole State. Tip-off is set for 5:30 PM at the NEO A&M Fieldhouse in Miami, Oklahoma.
