Lady Norse Pull Away in Second Half to Secure 63–37 Win at Redlands

The NEO Lady Norse picked up a strong road win on Wednesday night, defeating Redlands Community College 63–37 in El Reno. While the first half lacked offensive rhythm at times, NEO's defensive effort kept the Lady Cougars uncomfortable and limited them to tough, contested shots as the Lady Norse maintained control of the game.

NEO carried its lead into halftime behind disciplined half-court defense and steady execution. Redlands struggled to find clean looks, and the Lady Norse remained patient on the offensive end despite a flatter first half. That patience paid off after the break, as NEO came out with a completely different energy level in the second half.

The Lady Norse turned up the pressure defensively and got out on the floor in transition, dominating both ends of the court. Point guard Saniyah Morrison led the charge, pushing the pace and making plays that opened up driving lanes and scoring opportunities for her teammates. Her ability to control tempo and create offense fueled NEO's second-half surge.

Ana Carolina Furtado finished with 13 points, while Taneya Howard posted a double-double with 11 points and 13 rebounds to anchor the inside. With stifling defense and an explosive second half, the Lady Norse pulled away and left no doubt, earning an impressive 26-point road victory.
