Crowder go up in the 60th minute 1-0 from a Penalty Kick drawn by Lidor Nachshon.  The Norsemen even it up 1-1 from a penalty kick netted by sophomore winger Simeon Adair.  Crowder find the net in the 80th minute on a set piece right outside the box to go up 2-1.  The Norsemen had 11 shots and 8 on goal with Crowder's 8 shots and 5 on goal.  Final Score Crowder 2, NEO 1.  Coach Young said "We controlled the whole game having more possession and creating lots of chances.  We are alot further than where we were from our first game, lots to be proud of and lots of good things to take away from this one, even though the score didn't reflect it.  We will bounce back."  NEO returns to the pitch on Monday August 25th in a scrimmage at Northeastern State University in Tahlequah, Oklahoma.  Norsemen begin Region 2 play on Sunday August 31st at Home vs. Murray State.
