"I was a cold baseball day in February.  The conditions can play a large part on days like this.  We had a solid start and complete game (run rule shortened) out of Pierre-Luc.  We had an 1st inning homerun from Tommy Caya that set the tone for us at the plate.  Solo had a big time day.  We had great defense out of Bryan Melo at SS and Lance Wike at 1B.  It was the type of game we hoped would lead into an aggressive game two in hopes to sweep the double header."  Coach Ward
