Lady Norse Earn Road Win Over Hutchinson CC Behind Morrison's Strong Performance
Hutchinson, Kan. — The Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College (NEO) Lady Norse picked up an impressive road victory Thursday night, defeating Hutchinson Community College in Hutchinson, Kansas. NEO's up-tempo attack and relentless defensive pressure fueled the win, as the Lady Norse forced 27 turnovers and turned them into 26 points on the other end.
Sophomore guard Saniyah Morrison led the way for NEO, scoring 21 points while dishing out six assists to pace the offense. Morrison's energy set the tone early, helping the Lady Norse build momentum in transition and maintain control throughout the contest.
NEO's defensive effort and ability to capitalize in the open floor were key. The Lady Norse tallied 20 fast-break points and dominated the interior with 34 points in the paint, showcasing their balanced attack and physical play around the rim.
The victory in Hutchinson continues NEO's strong start to the season as the Lady Norse look to carry their momentum into tomorrow.
