Poplar Bluff, Mo. — November 2, 2025
The NEO A&M Lady Norse continued their strong start to the 2025–26 season with an 81–56 victory over Olney Central College on Sunday afternoon, closing out play at the Three Rivers Classic with a perfect weekend record.
Sophomore guard Montay Davis led the way with 17 points, pacing a balanced NEO offense that saw multiple players make key contributions. Taylor Swarnes provided a major spark off the bench, adding 11 points and 4 steals to help the Lady Norse build and maintain their lead.
Inside, Ana Carolina Furtado controlled the boards with 9 rebounds, while Hazley Grotjohn orchestrated the offense efficiently, dishing out 6 assists in the win.
With the victory, NEO improves to 2-0 to open the season after a strong showing in the Two-Day Classic. The Lady Norse showcased depth, defensive intensity, and unselfish play — setting a solid tone for the rest of the non-conference schedule.
NEO returns to action next week as they look to continue their early momentum.
