NEO traveled to Labette Community College for a mid-week matchup on Feb, 28th. The Lady Norse came away with the win for game one thanks to a strong start with the offense. NEO scored on a double by Kate Faber in the first inning, a single by Destiny Tune in the second inning, and a double by Makiah Torres in the second inning. The Lady Norse pulled away for good with four runs in the second inning. Tune singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run, an error scored another run, and Torres doubled on a 0-1 count, scoring both Donaldson and Tune. NEO collected eight total hits. Tune and Torres each collected two hits to lead NEO. Campbell, Horn, and Faber each followed it up with a hit. Paxton Donaldson hit a home run over the right field fence in the fourth inning. NEO was sure handed and didn't commit a single error in the field. Paige Morrall had the most chances in the field with six. Abby Ishmael took the win for The Lady Norse. The starting pitcher allowed six hits and three runs over four innings, striking out one and walking zero. Faber threw three innings in relief out of the bullpen.
For the second game NEO took the lead late in the game in a 6-1 victory to get the sweep. The game was a one run game until the sixth inning when
Hailey Haskell singled on a 3-2 count, scoring both
Kate Faber and
Tara Hall. The team tacked on two more security runs in the top of the seventh with Donaldson and Faber scoring. The Lady Norse's bats were even hotter for game two as they racked up 12 hits.

Destiny Tune all collected multiple hits for NEO. Aud, Hannon, and Haskell each chipped in, adding a hit a piece. Hall led in the offensive category with three hits in four at bats with two singles, a double, an RBI, and a run scored.
Evy Aud took the win for game two. The righthander went the entire seven innings, allowing one run on three hits, striking out two and walking one.
