Men's soccer struck first making the day look promising in the early minutes against Eastern Oklahoma State College. In the early going NEO won the majority of possession and frequently pushed to their offensive third fo the field. That early momentum was halted by an EOC break away. 5 goals would be scored in the first half leaving the Norsemen down 3-2 at the half.
Eastern would waste no time taking control of the game in the second half with a goal coming just 7 minutes after the restart. With the 4-2 lead Eastern went to a defensive formation. NEO was able to spend the majority of the game down field, but mounted a limited amount of scoring threats. The game ended with the 4-2 score.
NEO will try to move on from the loss as they now prepare to take on NOC Tonkawa Thursday. NOC is currently undefeated in conference play.
