Box Score The long awaited start to the spring soccer season ended in disappointment for the Norsemen.Things looked good early as NEO Struck first and took a 2-1 lead into the half. In the second half, however NEO would surrender 2 goals, one on set piece and one on a counter attack giving the lead back to Rose. Ultimately resulting in a 2-3 loss to start the spring season.
"We did a lot of things right. Our attack is going to be fine, when in position we defend very well. We got caught pushing up too far and we were unable to handle their counter attack. The good news is our problems are very fixable." Coach John Parrigon.
The Norsemen return to play in their home opener on Wed April 7^th as they take on conference opponent Rich Mountain of Mena Arkansas.
