NEO defeated Ellsworth 27-24 in a back and forth brawl improving their record to 2-2. This was NEO's second win in a row headed into region play. Running Back Jamoni Jones gathered 109 yards on the ground and added 2 touchdowns for the Golden Norsemen. This is his second week in a row surpassing the 100 yard mark with 2 touchdowns.
