Norsemen forced to play a make up game @ Seminole making the trip a 4 game rather than a 3 game road series ...  "When Seminole traveled to Miami weeks ago, rain came in early on Saturday and we had to cancel ... this created the option of adding that game to the Series at Seminole this weekend ..." Coach Roger Ward "Just like the Connors series a week ago we out hit Seminole but were only able to get out of their with the finale win ... I felt that we competed in every game but one and should have gotten the sweep on day two but lost a 3 run lead out of the pen in the bottom of the 8th ... I'm proud of how the guys continue to compete and no matter what the score or situation is they never go away ... they stay in the fight!"

Game 1
Pitching:  This was a big time pitching battle between NEO Ace Tanner Bramlage and Seminoles Ace Kevin Dickey ... "Bram gave us a chance to win with his quality start and I felt we competed and made it tough on Dickey all game with quality AB's .. " Coach Ward "But, Dickey is one of the top pitchers in the conference and although we squared him up a bunch it was always right at a defender and we never got the ground ball in the hole or gapper to get on the board ... Tanner was bit time for us!"
Offense:  We only had two hits, one from Small and one from Hinton, but we hit the ball hard throughout the game just could not get to Dickey ...

Game 2
Pitching: "This was a tough start for us because Dakodah busted in the first inning giving up 5 runs ..." Coach Ward "We had to go early to Brooks Antle is really a short relief guy for us but we had to stretch him out as long as we could trying to stay in the game ... Brooks gave up 9 runs but to his defense we misplayed a ball in right and a ball in center that accounted for 7 to 9 runs that would have never had the chance to score thus keeping us in the ballgame ... this was a much closer game than the score indicated"
Offense:  Freshman Braeden Hinton hits his second HR of the season and Tyler Small hits a double

Game 3
Pitching: Freshman RHP Savoie gives the Norse a solid start going 5 innings but the long ball hurt him in the 5th roughing him up for 4 runs and letting the Trojans get back in the game after the Norse had built a 10 to 3 lead ... Freshman RHP Jordan Blom come in to shut it down but hits the first batter and gives up 4 more runs behind it in the 6th ... Mavarez come in to stop it and gives up the winning run
Offense: The Norse blow up for 15 hits, 7 doubles and 3 HR's in game 3 ... leading the way was Freshman 3B Tyler Small going 4 for 5 with 2 doubles and homerun and 3 RBI's ... Soph Colton Marian went 4 for 5 with a double and 3 RBi's ... both Savoie and Hutchens hit HR's as well

Game 4
Pitching: Big Time Start and from Freshman LHP Sebatian Cruzado ... complete 9 inning game walking 3 striking out 10
Offense: Freshman Tyler Small has another great game going 2 for 3 with a double and 2 runs scored ... Colton Marion, Jacob Ervin, Zach Lintzen and Tyler Silva all added two hits each ... Ryan Kula big 2 RBI double in 7th gave the Norse room to settle down and let Cruzado to his work
