Norsemen Fall In Overtime At #4 Indian Hills

The NEO Golden Norsemen dropped a tight game Friday night in Overtime 77-74 at #4 ranked Indian Hills (Ottumwa, IA).  Sophomore Point Guard Rudi Williams continued his stellar play by finishing with 32 points, 9 assists, and 5 rebounds.  Sophomore Samkelo Cele finished with 14 points and 10 rebounds. Freshman Kalil Camara contributed 13 points, and Freshman Alvin Cannady III chipped in 2 points while pulling down 13 rebounds and dishing out 4 assists.

Head Coach Jeremy Jackson had this to say about the Norsemen's evening "Hard fought game in one of the toughest environments in Junior College Basketball. We had our chances to pull ahead and have some minor details we need to clean up.  We kept fighting and hitting shots, making plays, and doing it together which is what I love about our team.  We have some Golden Norse Warriors that play hard."

NEO plays again this afternoon at 4:30pm vs. #14 ranked Southeastern CC in Ottumwa, IA on the campus of Indian Hills.
