In their second match up of the year Rose State College edged out NEO 1-0 at Red Robertson Field.
The first half of the game was fairly quiet. Rose state maintain the majority of possession, but their attack was held at bay by the Norsemen defense. In the second half play opened up with both teams creating several good chances. With approximately 30 minutes remaining in the match Rose State found the back of the net off a crossed ball to the center of the box. The Rose attacker settled the ball quickly and put away his shot.
The remainder of the half continued with fast paced play, but no change in score.
Sunday October 7^th NEO will play at Eastern where a win could have big implications on regional tournament seeding.
