Wrestlers Head to Fort Wayne, IN for National Duals

The Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College wrestling team heads to Ft. Wayne, Indiana this week for the National Wrestling Coaches Association 2017 Multi-Divisional Dual Meet National Championships. NEO will enter the event as the #1 ranked NJCAA wrestling team.  Currently NEO is 4-0 in dual meets. The tournament will take place on January 5 & 6, 2017. 141 lbs. Curtis Burnett, sophomore, Independence, Kansas ranked #3 (14-3)
149 lbs. Dustin Hayden, sophomore, Johnstown, Colorado ranked #3 (14-8)
149 lbs. Dylan Lucas, redshirt freshman, Plainview, Oklahoma (9-0)
157 lbs. Asa (Alex) Nelson, sophomore, Guthrie, Oklahoma ranked #4 (14-4)
165 lbs. James Wyatt Jordan, freshman, Collinsville, Oklahoma ranked #4 (17-5)
174 lbs. Saul Ortiz, sophomore, Wichita, Kansas, ranked #6 (13-5)

The Norsemen wrestlers will be entering this completion as the defending 2016 NJCAA National Champions. This will be the Norse third year of participation in this event. In 2015 NEO placed second and 2016 NEO finished third.
 
Action will take place at the War Memorial Coliseum, Ft. Wayne, Indiana.
Thursday, January 5, 2017 starting at 9 am
Friday, January 6, 2017 starting at 9 am and finals at 1:00 PM
