Casey Johnson scored four straight goals to lead the Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College Golden Norsemen soccer team cruised to a 7-1 victory Sunday at Red Robertson Field over Division III Murray State College.
While scoring the most points in a match all season, the Golden Norse conclude the regular schedule with a 9-4-2 overall record and a 4-1-2 mark in the Oklahoma Collegiate Athletic Conference.
The Golden Norsemen host the Men's Division I Region II post season four-team tournament starting at 5 p.m. Saturday.
Murray State (6-8-1) opened the match with a team goal in the second minute of play.

Eight minutes later Rodriguez sent a pass to sophomore midfielder
Matheus Abreu to give the Norsemen a 2-1 lead.
Abreu earned an assist at the 28-minute juncture off a pass to sophomore defender Karolis Venys for a 3-1 NEO margin.
Johnson, from England, received a scoring pass from freshman forward Victor Arias to increase the margin to a 4-1 advantage.
A pass from Gustavo Requeijo to Johnson produced a 5-1 lead for the Norsemen at halftime.
Johnson added two unassisted goals (77-minue mark) and (81-minute) to conclude the scoring.
