Clayton Whelchel (3-1) surrendered a solo home run by Hunter Schellhardt (2) to lead off the top of the seventh inning. Whelchel limited the Mavericks to one run on four hits with three strike outs and one walk.

Luke Manuel (3-1) carried the Mavericks to a 16-5 rout in five innings of the second game.
NOC-Tonkawa received two home runs from Schellhardt (4) and one each from Josh Evans (3) and Cole Floyd (2) to ignite a 15-hit attack.
Evans along with Gage Ross and Chad Dunlop also added RBI doubles for the Mavericks.
