SEMINOLE - Entering the final week of the regular season, Northeastern A&M's 11th-ranked Lady Norse travel to Warner, Monday, for a 5 p.m. Oklahoma Collegiate Athletic Conference double-header against arch rival Connors State College.
Coach
Eric Iverson's Lady Norse have a 13-game winning streak in place following a 12-1 and 6-3 sweep of a double-header Saturday at Seminole State College. The Lady Norse lead the OCAC with a 19-1 record and are 30-7 on the season.
Coach Rick Carbone's Connors Cowgirls are 5-11 in the conference and 20-29 on the season following a non-conference double-header sweep 8-0 and 8-0 on Sunday at Coffeyville, Kan.
The Lady Norse are scheduled on Tuesday to close out the home portion of the regular season with a 2 p.m. double-header with the Coffeyville Red Ravens (12-30).
NEO travels to Tonkawa on Wednesday for a 4 p.m. OCAC makeup double-header with the Northern Oklahoma College Lady Mavericks. The Lady Mavs are 3-14 in the conference and 14-32 overall after losing a twinbill 11-10 and 4-3 on Saturday at Rose State.
Concluding the regular season next Friday and Saturday, the Lady Norse travel to Altus with four games against the Western State College Lady Pioneers. Ranked 17th in the nation, the Lady Pioneers are 18-4 in the OCAC and 39-7 on the year.
Freshman
Kaitlin Davis of Springdale, Ark., limited the Seminole State Belles (13-7 and 22-12) to one run on five hits in six innings of a 12-1 win on Saturday. Davis struck out nine and walked two while throwing 105 total pitches.
With a single run in the top of the second inning and three in the fifth, the Lady Norse tallied eight runs in the top of the sixth inning to put the game out of reach.

Bailey Donathan sparked the marathon sixth inning for NEO with a single and a two-run double.

Against the Belles in Saturday's second game, the Lady Norse erased a 3-1 deficit with five runs in the top of the fifth inning of a 6-3 victory.
Singles by Stevenson, Johnson, Walters, Donathan and
Courtni Clark supplied the offense for the Lady Norse to overcome the two-run deficit in the fifth inning.
Donathan collected three of the 10 Lady Norse hits while Clark and Stevenson added two hits each.
Catie McBay, Alejandra Moran, Keeli Kessinger and Megan Milroy produced two hits each for the Belles.
Veteran
Alex Gilley pitched six innings to earn the win after allowing three runs on nine hits. Davis faced four batters in a scoreless seventh inning.
