Box Score TISHOMINGO – Sophomore power forward Gary Inglett scored 24 points and grabbed six rebounds to lead the Murray State College Aggies to a 65-59 victory over the Northeastern A&M Golden Norsemen Thursday night in the Beames Fieldhouse.
“We just didn't has the energy or intensity that we had when we beat Connors last Monday,” Golden Norse head coach
Dustin Grover said. “We let Murray State hang around and we had a three-point lead with under two minutes to play.
“They showed that they wanted it more than we did in the final minute,” Grover said. “We were up 59-58, but couldn't get a defensive stop and they knocked down their free throws at the end.”
With the loss the Golden Norse are 2-3 in the Oklahoma Collegiate Athletic Conference and 9-8 on the season. Coach Randy Rutherford's Aggies are 3-2 in the conference and 7-8 overall.
The Golden Norsemen return home Monday for an 8 p.m. OCAC clash with the Vikings of Carl Albert State College in the NEO Fieldhouse.
