Sporting a 20-game winning streak and three first team All-American Players, coach S.A. Red Robertson’s Golden Norsemen participated in the 13^th annual Junior Rose Bowl before 50,797 fans in Pasadena, California. After becoming the third team in the history of NEO football to finish the regular season with a perfect record, the Norse were declared State Champions. Coach Robertson’s Norsemen posted a perfect 9-0 record and a number one ranking by the National Junior College Athletic Association.
